Nature path - the ravine by the stream of Varnan

The ravine along the stream Varnan is a fairly unaffected and distinctive area with many interesting plants and animals. 3-6 km roundtrip. Kristinehamn.
The stream Varnan flows from Niklasdamm in the north to the mouth of Lake Vänern and has both biological and cultural values.

Along the ravine between the allotment gardens and the golfcourse there are trails of about 3 km on both sides of the stream Varnan. The ravine is a fairly unaffected and distinctive area with many interesting plants and animals.

You can walk the entire distance from the center through Sunneberg on the east side of the river, underneath E18 to the allotment gardens at Haga koloniområde if you wish. You can also get there by car.

From the city centre of Kristinehamn take Karlagatan direction north. At Lagmansgatan take a left turn and then a right turn onto Annebergsgatan. Drive over the railway and park at Haga koloniområde. Follow the signs.
